emynence asked: In your opinion, what are some ways to tell when a dude is feeling you?

There’s actually a lot of ways to tell, but the best one: If he tells you he is.

But of course, this isn’t Burger King and women can’t always get their way. However, I think these could be some things:

Body Language. Because come on. Women’s intuition is no joke. When a guy is feeling you, you just kind of know, even just a gist of it. Whenever he talks to you, he feel’s kind of uneasy, nervous, anxious, looking like he’s going to puke. Well, it could be two ways. It’s either he likes you, or he is so nervous he’s going to get caught cheating by his girl. LOL.

Family and Friends. Well, let’s do friends first. If the dude introduces you to his homeboys, that’s something big. ‘Cause once he does, it only means he’s talks to them about you in the past. And plus, if you’re hanging out with them, they bring up things like, “So and so mentioned that you’re doing this & that, etc. That’s awesome”.  If he mentioned what you do for a living, your goals & aspirations are, something funny you did, chances are, he’s proud of you.

The other side of the spectrum, if he’s willing to get to know your friends as well. ‘Cause he could be himself when he’s with his boys, but can he be the same way with your crowd? If he tries to be friends with your friends, and he makes you feel comfortable sitting with the girls while he’s hanging out with your guy friends, then you can tell he’s “for real”. 

Family. This one is the biggest (at least for me). How he is with his family when you’re around shows a lot. When you meet them & they already know a lot about you, that only means one thing. You’re more than just some girl he’s hanging out with. And when he meets your family, you’d kind of just know if he’s making an effort to “fit in”. And if you get that slightest hint, you got yourself a keeper!

Compliments. Anyone can say you’re sexy, hot & fine. But only a man who has real and clean intentions can genuinely say how beautiful you are. And you’d know if he’s sincere too. 

Communication. Obviously, if he calls or text, you’re in his mind somewhere. 

“Care”. He doesn’t have to like do big gestures to show he cares. But when he asks you to text him or call him when you get home to let him know you’re safe, that’s something.
